Dear reader, there is a tale, A cat once happened upon a fox in the forest. While shy of such a dangerous creature, she thought to herself: “The fox is said to be full of arts and experience, and so clever that he is esteemed by all in the world. Perhaps I can learn something from him.” So she called to him in a cordial manner, “Good day, dear Fox, how is it getting on in the forest?”
If ever a story was, is, analogous to the killer NCAS system, on the Boeing 737 latest models, this is it. Commercial aircraft Never stall. Yet, some I.T. twits invented a death-dealing 'clever' addition to further automate a perfect cockpit that needed no 'improvement'. Cue: two NCAS crashes in nine months, 220 or so, dead. Climb into the tree with the cat, Boeing!
In college, I was one of those proselytizing Atheists. I also fell in love with a Catholic girl. Her cousin (who's still a friend) told me that her father once said, "He's too smart for religion." At the time, I was blown away by the compliment.
Loved this tale, and the analysis that followed! It adds a bit more to the tale and it’s nice to hear your own tale on it. I’m enjoying Pullman’s edition of Grimms tales right now, he includes a little commentary after each one there as well. Keep up the great work!

Smart indeed.
